The production of adhesive interlinings originated in Europe. In 1952, British Tanner (K·Tanner) used polyethylene as raw material, and applied it on the fabric by dusting to make adhesive interlining. Lining on shirt collar. 65 years later, West Germany and Switzerland successfully developed copolyamide hot-melt adhesives, and subsequently developed powder-dot coating equipment, making new breakthroughs in the variety and quality of adhesive interlinings. Since 1968, adhesive interlining has developed rapidly abroad. At this time, the amount of adhesive interlining in Western Europe only accounted for 30% of the total interlining consumption. By the 1980s, the amount of adhesive interlining had accounted for more than 90%.
