GAOXIN Dipping nonwovens for embroider backing

Dipping nonwovens is a commonly used method to create Embroidery Backing. The process involves immersing a Nonwoven Fabric in a solution of adhesive and water, then drying it to create a stiff and stable backing for embroidery.

There are several types of adhesives that can be used for dipping nonwovens, including acrylic, polyester, and polyamide. The choice of adhesive depends on the desired stiffness and durability of the embroidery backing.

The dipping process can be done manually or with the help of a machine. The nonwoven fabric is first cut to the desired size and shape, then immersed in the adhesive solution. The fabric is then squeezed to remove excess solution and dried in an oven or with a heat press.

Once the embroidery backing is dry, it can be cut to the desired shape and used as a stabilizer for embroidery projects. The stiffness of the backing helps prevent fabric distortion and puckering during the embroidery process, resulting in a cleaner and more professional-looking finished product.
